Welcome to 7th grade Mathematics. I'm looking forward to a wonderful year. We will be spending many hours together which will give me the opportunity to know you as individuals. I wanted to give you some background knowledge on myself. I am a 1995 graduate of Trinity High School. In 1999, I graduated from Robert Morris with a dual major. I have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Education with an emphasis on technology and mathematics (grades 7-12). I furthered my education by receiving a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Scranton.
I started my teaching career as a long term substitute for Trinity High School in 2003-2004. I have been employed since 2004 as an educator for Trinity Middle School. In addition to teaching mathematics for 8th grade, I have taught 7th grade Computers and 7th grade Mathematics.
I am excited to start fresh this school year. I have a lot of material to share with you and many interactive ways to learn. We will be working together to accomplish another proficient year. You, as well as myself, have a huge impact on the success of each class daily. I will treat you with the respect you deserve and expect you to return the favor to your peers and myself. Our class is going to cover a lot of curriculum and hopefully everyone involved will learn something useful. Only through the cooperation of students, teachers, and parents can we expect to have a successful school year. Let's ALL do our part to help make this school year a productive one at TMS.
