Welcome

Hello and welcome to a new school year! I look forward to getting to know you and your child as the year progresses. 

I realize that teaching your child is a privilege as well as a tremendous responsibility. I will do my best this year to ensure that each student has a motivating and safe experience in the classroom.

I have high expectations for your child. First, I expect each student to come to class prepared and ready to learn. It is paramount that each stuent not only bring the physical things-- books, pencils, homework assignments, etc., but also a positive attitude. All students are expected to do their best at all times. Also, assignments are expected to be completed on time and missed work due to absence, is the responsiblity of the student. Last but not least, students are encouraged to ask for assistance if assignments are overwhelming or difficult to understand. I will always be available and willing to help.

Your child is about to embark on a meaningful educational journey of which you are a vital part. I invite you to become an active participant in a partnership designed to maximize your child's learning potential. Your support, as well as your insight and suggestions are key factors to your child's success.
