Mrs. Walk has been teaching Biology at Trinity High School for 10 years and taught Middle School Science for four years in MD.  She graduated with distinction from Washington and Jefferson College and continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh to earn a Masters Degree in Teaching.  She continues to learn by attending trainings in areas such as STEAM, NMSI (National Math and Science Initiative), and Trinity's very own Freight Farm.
As a Freshman teacher, she focuses on helping students find their own learning and studying methods while learning Biology.  Students in her classes can expect to participate in many different types of activities from labs, demonstrations, review games, independent and group work.

"Biology is a Keystone tested class, so it can be challenging.  I understand this, so I make sure I am available to help students with anything they need.  Students should expect to spend some time studying before tests and they shouldn't be afraid to ask questions when they come across topics they don't understand.  I am here to help!  All they need to do is ask."
