About Mrs. Podolinsky!

This is my 15th year at Trinity Middle School. I am a graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Westminster College in 2008 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education K-12. I am certified to teach Language Arts grades 7-9 and Mathematics grades 7-9 as well. I have had experience teaching all core academic subjects in all grade levels throughout my years at the middle school. This year, I am looking forward to returning to the classroom as a seventh and eighth grade English teacher. I am excited to have the opportunity to teach some of my former students and meet new students as well!

One of my greatest passions is traveling. I lived in England for four months while I was in college. I was able to do this because I participated in the exchange student program through Oxford University. I had the opportunity to live with an English family and learn the ways of English culture. They may speak English, but their lifestyle and culture are extremely different from the United States! Did you know the "loo" is the bathroom in England?

While living in England, I had the opportunity to visit France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, The Netherlands, Italy, The Vatican City, and Switzerland. Each country offered unique and unforgettable experiences that shaped the person and teacher I am today.

My European adventure while I was in college was unbelievable, however, my wedding in Disney World was the best! I married Mr. Podolinsky in the summer of 2018 at my favorite Disney resort, The Boardwalk Inn. My parents took me there when I was little and I've loved it ever since. It was so special to share my family tradition with my husband's family.

I have a daughter named Charlotte. She is two and a half years old. She is funny, crazy, and has an awesome imagination. Between raising my daughter and educating my awesome students, my daily life is exhausting, yet extremely fulfilling.

All in all, I love going new places, and revisiting old ones. All of my travels teach me something new about myself, and in turn, make me a better person and teacher. I use my experiences to create unforgettable ones in the classroom as I get to know and impact my students each and every day.
