A Little About Ms. Leichliter...

I graduated from Gateway High School in Monroeville before attending Penn State.  At Penn State, I studied elementary education with a concentration in mathematics and science.  I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.  After graduation, I accepted a job in Prince George's County, Maryland where I taught middle school mathematics for 12 years.  While in Maryland, I completed an online Masters program and earned my Masters of Science in Middle Level Mathematics Education.  I also added 7-9 math to my teaching certificate, making me highly qualified to teach math from Kindergarten through ninth grade. 

In 2012, I returned to Pennsylvania to be closer to my family.  I taught fifth grade mathematics at Trinity East Elementary School for five years.  I then moved to Trinity Middle School in 2017 where I have been teaching 6th grade mathematics ever since!
