Hello Everyone!  It's a great day to be a Hiller!

I began teaching in the Trinity Area School District in the spring of 2000 as a substitute teacher.  In the Fall of 2001, I was hired as an 8th grade computer teacher.  After 2 years of teaching computers, I transferred to the mathematics department, my favorite subject and my area of expertise.

Yours truly is a 1994 graduate of Trinity High School (GO HILLERS!) and a 1999 graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania (GO EAGLES!) where I studied mathematics, science and education.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a Certification in Mathematics, grades 7-12.  I have a specialization in science and an RAA (Registered Athletic Administration) Certification from Ohio University.

My hobbies include coaching varsity and middle school sports such as football, baseball and softball, hunting and the outdoors, skiing out west, country music and playing guitar.  I am also the Trinity Middle School Athletics and Activities Director for all middle school sports.  I also help produce the 8th Grade Awards Day Ceremony at TMS and I'm very involved with the National Junior Honor Society, Hiller Holiday Helpers, a Middle School Team Leader, Union Representative, and I was the head of the Schools to Watch Committee at TMS.

I work as the Site Manager for all of the winter sports such as boys and girls basketball, wrestling and for the W.P.I.A.L. Playoffs.  I am a member of PSADA (Pennsylvania State Athletic Director Association), PSFCA (Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association), and the NIAAA (National Interscholastic Athletics Administration Association).

In the winter, I help run the Trinity Ski Club along with Mr. West and Mrs. Margaria.  We volunteer our time to take our students skiing on the weekends to 7 Springs and Wisp.  The Trinity Ski Club has been in existence since 1978!

I really enjoy spending my free time volunteering for local organizations such as PONY, Special Olympics, Washington Humane Society, Washington City Mission, Toys for Tots, Community Action Southwest, and the Salvation Army.  My family is also involved in several foundations in Washington County that produce yearly scholarships for Trinity students.  One of our foundations raises money for Trinity organizations such as Hunter's Safety and Washington County Vo-Tech.

I love what I do and I wouldn't trade this job for anything in the world!  My door is always open!  Feel free to stop in with any questions or if you need any help!  Take care and have a wonderful day!
