Hello, my name is Mrs. Heidi Gasmire, and I am excited about being your child’s first grade teacher at Trinity West Elementary School.

I am a proud graduate of the Trinity Area School District. I am also a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I graduated magna cum laude and have a specialization in Early Childhood Development.

I have been teaching for Trinity Area School District for 31 years. I have taught 6th grade and kindergarten, and since 1996, I have been teaching first grade at Trinity. During the 2008-2009 school year, I was honored to be named the Elementary Teacher of the Year.

My husband, Tom, works for the University of Pittsburgh. I also have three daughters. My oldest daughter, Heather, is a proud Trinity, Washington and Jefferson College, and The Ohio State University alumna. My daughter, Gretchen, is attending Gannon University and my daughter, Ketlie, is currently attending Hiram College. My mother, Judy, worked for Trinity for over three decades and is a retired elementary school teacher.
