My name is Kristi Kubatka, and I am an Autistic Support Teacher at Trinity West Elementary School! I am originally from Imperial, PA., which is right by the Pittsburgh International Airport (about 40 minutes away), and I attended West Allegheny School District for Kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating in 2013. I currently live in Carnegie. From a young age of 8 years old, I knew that I wanted to become a teacher. Since elementary school I have been involved in the special education department, a cheerleading coach, dance teacher, and a summer camp counselor. Every experience I have had has only strengthen my desire to teach. In May 2017, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree from Slippery Rock University. I majored in Early Childhood Education (PreK-6) and Special Education (PreK-8) with an Elementary Mathematics minor. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the Honors Program. I am currently pursuing my masters in Curriculum and Instruction at Gannon University. This will be my fifth year at Trinity West as an Autistic Support teacher.
