I am a Speech-Language Pathologist. I provide speech and language support services to students who are eligible for these services at Trinity West Elementary.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am a Certified Teacher in the area of Speech and Language Impairments. In addition, I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech and Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and a license to practice Speech and Language Pathology in the state of Pennsylvania.
I keep my certificates and license current by participating in educational activities that are based on scientific evidence. I also seek to improve my knowledge with the most current information available with regard to the difficulties with which my students present.
I have practiced speech and language pathology in many different settings, including a rehabilitation facility, skilled nursing facility, home care, preschool, private school and public school. In addition to working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, I also have experience as a Consultant for Assistive Technology.
I enjoy working in my current position at Trinity West Elementary. It is truly rewarding to help young children learn new skills for improved communication.
