I grew up here in Western Pennsylvania, where I graduated from Charleroi Area High School in 1999.  In 2003 I graduated from Duquesne University with a bachelors degree in both Elementary and Special Education. From there I married my high school sweetheart, Marc, who was a pilot in the Marine Corps. We moved to Florida, where I accepted a job as class-size reduction teacher in the fifth grade.  The next year I taught second grade regular education, with the inclusion of one student with Autism. In my final few months there, I was asked to begin the inclusion implementation process within the fourth and fifth grades. We then moved to Virginia, per military orders, where we had our first child, Maria. We moved again, to North Carolina where we welcomed our second child, Anthony. The Giorgi family moved back to Pennsylvania in 2011.  I have been a teacher in the district since the 2013-2014 school year.  The first three years were as the Autistc Support Teacher at Trinity West.  I then accepted a transfer to Trinity High School as the Autstic Support Teacher.  In 2016 I received my Masters in Special Education from Point Park University.
