A student applying to an Ivy League school was once asked to create a list of adjectives that a friend would use to describe her personality. I decided to take that approach while writing my bio, but I asked students instead. Their response...eccentric, excitable, and unpredictable.
I have been employed by the Trinity Area School District since 2004; initially hired as a first grade teacher. I spent most of my career teaching 5th grade at Trinity West, but for the 2017-18 school year, it was time for a change. Currently I am the High School Gifted Support Teacher and an Agriculture Educator. My day to day tasks include maintaining gifted student's education plans, scheduling enrichment opportunities, operating the Trinity Freight Farm, planting in the greenhouse, and co-teaching small gas engine class with Mr. Coyle.
My husband Jason and I own and operate two farms in Amity. We raise beef cattle, sheep, and chickens. I have two children in the Trinity School District who are actively involved in sports, 4-H, and helping on the farm. I also own and operate an Airbnb. I enjoy gardening and occasionally craft for fun.
I'd say eccentric, excitable, and unpredictable are relatively accurate.
