My name is Joe Smith and I teach Honors Biology and AP Biology at Trinity High School. I am also an advisor for Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science. My goal is to make my students competitive with the best biology students anywhere. Evidence for this will be outstanding scores on the PA Keystone Biology Exam and the Advanced Placement Biology Exam. More importantly, students will be prepared for success in higher education. I have high expectations both for myself and my students and expect hard work in my class. I am a believer in the research of Angela Duckworth that effort matters twice:

                             SKILLS X EFFORT = ACHIEVEMENT

Natural talent will always be helpful to students but effort will be critical to their level of achievement. I look forward to working with my students this year.
