Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!

It is my privilege to uphold the English Department’s goals and philosophy to help you reach your full potential. This year, you will be encouraged to be an avid reader, think independently, write fluently, speak confidently, view discriminately, and communicate effectively.

I offer you my 100% effort and enthusiasm, and I hold the same high expectations for you in your work and participation. I am proud to be a teacher, and I am honored to have you in my class.  I wish you a fun and rewarding year in English class!

Please note that this webpage is simply an overview of the courses; parents, guardians, and students are encouraged to check Skyward for your academic progress as well as for the weekly lesson plans. Parents should also check with their child about our Google classroom resource for excellent support materials for each unit of study.
