Fifth grade students are busy in the art room this fall! They began the year by making sketchbooks. The second week students worked on pumpkins and Christmas projects, which is a partnership with our Parent Organization. These projects took us into the month of October. In November students are working on a rotating schedule with the Pittsburgh Glass Center to construct a mosaic mural. In the off-weeks, students will work on individual projects that will finish by Thanksgiving break. 

Housekeeping note - Please remember we use multiple art making materials in my room each week. It is in your student's best interest to wear clothing that may get messy. Please avoid dressing students in white or in their best clothing. I am working on securing high quality smocks for the art room at this time. Thank you.
