It's hard to believe we are wrapping up our first nine-weeks! 

Fifth grade students have completed sketchbook creations, fall tree paintings, charcoal pumpkins and they just finished sculpting clay pumpkins. Next week we are scheduled to glaze the sculptures. Students should have at least one more project coming home before Thanksgiving break.

It's been a lot of fun getting to know this group of kids! As a housekeeping note, please try to have your student wear art clothes (aka not their best, fancy clothes) to class. It is also a great idea to avoid the color white if at all possible! We use a lot of different mediums when we create, which included things that may get messy. Thank you!
