What is Title I?
“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” – Margaret Fuller
Title I is a federally funded program that provides financial assistance to schools with the goal of improving educational opportunities for children.
The Title I program at Trinity West is available for students who are experiencing difficulty with reading. Our program is designed to resolve reading problems so that children can close the educational gap between that of their grade level peers. This is done using a direct instruction model that is data driven, prescriptive, and personalized to each learner. Students meet with the reading support teacher each day in small groups of 3 to 5 learners to insure maximum instructional time.
