California University of Pennsylvania - Speech-Hearing Clinic

The Department of Communication Disorders operates an on-campus Speech and Hearing Clinic open to all members of the public and to students, faculty and staff at California University of Pennsylvania.

Diagnostic and therapeutic services are available for a wide variety of communication problems, including speech, language, hearing, voice, fluency, augmentative communication and swallowing.  Assistance with English for speakers of other languages is also available.

Services are provided by student clinicians enrolled in the graduate speech-language pathology program under close supervision by faculty members.  All faculty members are fully licensed and certified speech language pathologists, one of whom is a licensed and certified audiologist.

Duquesne University Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic

The Clinic provides diagnostic and treatment services on an outpatient basis in Fisher Hall on the Duquesne campus. Following an evaluation, individual and/or group therapy sessions are scheduled to meet the individual needs of each client. Services may also be provided via Telepractice. While not all services may be covered, the Clinic is a participating provider with many insurance companies, as well as the State Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. Alternatively, fee reductions are available for those who qualify.

The Clinic is comprised of the following six specialty clinics - Adult Language and Cognition, Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD), Child Language, Motor Speech and Voice. Speech Production, and Stuttering Clinic.
