After graduating from Trinity High School in 1991, Nicolle attended Fairmont State College and completed a Food Service Management degree in 1995 and continued her education at West Virginia University with a master's degree in Human Nutrition in 2002. She joined Trinity Area School District in 2011 and now has more than 20 years of experience in nutrition and food service. She is the recipient of multiple awards including the Crystal Apple Award in 2018 and No Kid Hungry in 2019 for her advancement of child nutrition programs. Nicolle is the parent of Ryan Bazant (2011) and Nathan Bazant (2014) and she resides in Eighty Four with her husband Frank Pleil.
