Mrs. Ostrosky is currently the new principal at Trinity West Elementary School. For seven years she served as the administrator for Trinity South Elementary followed by three years at Trinity Middle School. In her position, Mrs. Ostrosky is responsible for staff and student supervision, creating and implementing building achievement plans, as well as district and curriculum goals, addressing staff development and all else necessary to promote and ensure a safe environment that is conducive to learning. In addition to these responsibilities, she is also the Director of Federal Programs and the Director of Curriculum K - 8.
Mrs. Ostrosky began her teaching career at Trinity East Elementary where she taught kindergarten and Title I reading for 13 years. She served on the Language Arts and Full Day Kindergarten Committees. From there she was offered the position as building principal at Trinity South.
During her teaching and administrative career, Mrs. Ostrosky has coached within the district and served as an officer for the local reading council, Keystone's Corner. She served as a member for the Keystone State Reading Association, Phi Delta Kappa, PAESP/NAESP, South PFC and is active with local charities. She has also worked with the Department of Education since 1999 on the state assessment in various capacities. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Ostrosky obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree with her certification in elementary education from California University of PA. As a graduate student, she received a Master’s Degree in reading from California University of PA and returned to obtain her administrative certificate as well.
Mrs. Ostrosky is very happily married to her husband Joe and together they have two daughters, Bekah and Jorjah. The couple resides in Greensburg in the Hempfield Area School District.
